Here's what our customers are saying…
Sometimes the smallest instruments create the most memorable moments.
At bedtime
My 3-year-old is OBSESSED with Dylan's Dream Drum. Every night, he picks the same musical story and insists on playing along. Every. Single. Night.
Don't get me wrong, I love our little bedtime routine, but please tell me there are more musical stories coming! This mama could use some variety!

Our reply
Good news, there are more! Our other musical stories are available as add-ons for the drum you already have.
A Christmas gift
Got my niece and nephew two of these drums, Dylan's Dream Drum and the Magic Calm Drum. They were a HUGE hit! The kids started playing right away, and even the grown-ups wanted a turn.
Not saying I'm officially the favorite uncle now, but... I'm definitely the favorite uncle.

Afraid of the dark
My little guy has been struggling with being afraid of the dark, so bedtime hasn't exactly been easy around here.
We got him Brave Dave's Drum, and honestly, I never expected the storybook to be the biggest hit!
He loves playing the drum, but it's Dave's story about being brave that really stuck with him. After reading it together a few times, he's actually becoming less afraid of the dark!
I thought we were getting a fun musical instrument. Turns out, we got a little extra courage too.

Every drum is tuned to a full C major scale - C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C - arranged low to high across 8 notes. Because all the notes belong to one key, there are no wrong notes: whatever your child plays sounds gentle and in tune.
Magic Calm Drum is a thoughtfully designed Kids Music Drum Instrument made from a real steel tongue drum, created to produce gentle, harmonious acoustic tones.
Unlike many electronic toys with flashing lights and loud sounds, the Calm Drum encourages intuitive, screen-free play. Its color-coded notes and carefully arranged scale help children play real melodies easily, building confidence while supporting emotional regulation and focus.
It is not just a toy, it is a calming musical experience that invites creativity, connection, and meaningful play.
Children connect with our Kids Music Drum Instrument because success feels immediate and natural.
1. An intuitive 1–8 scale
Each steel tongue drum for kids is arranged in a clear 1–8 sequence from low to high. There is no guessing or searching for the right note. The structured layout makes it easy to follow along, helping children play real melodies with confidence from the very first try.
2. A complete Musical Instrument Set
Our thoughtfully designed Musical Instrument Sets include a simple numbered songbook and a meaningful musical story. This gentle guidance keeps children engaged while showing them how music can support focus, calm, and emotional balance.
In short, we combine intuitive design with guided musical content to make playing feel simple, rewarding, and meaningful from the very first note.
Our drum kits are ideal for children ages 3 and up. Younger children can explore freely with parental guidance, while older kids quickly start following songs. There's no wrong way to play - whether they’re tapping along for fun or learning to follow melodies, it’s designed to grow with them.
Our Musical Instrument Sets go beyond a simple Kids Music Drum Instrument.
Each set combines a real steel tongue drum, a numbered songbook, and a meaningful story to support emotional growth, early musical education, and meaningful bonding moments between children and caregivers.
With color-coded notes and guided content, children build confidence, develop focus, and experience the joy of playing real music in a calm, screen-free way.
Yes - absolutely. Safety is a top priority for us. Our drums are made from smooth, durable steel with non-toxic paint and rounded edges, specifically designed for little hands.
All our kits have been independently tested and approved to meet children’s safety standards in the US, Canada, and Europe. You can feel confident knowing your child is playing with a certified-safe, high-quality instrument
The right Calm Drum depends on your child’s age, personality, and how you plan to use it. Some families prefer a simple standalone Kids Music Drum Instrument for open-ended play, while others appreciate complete Musical Instrument Sets that include a storybook and guided songbook. If your child enjoys structure and following melodies, a full set may provide more engagement. If they prefer improvisation and sensory exploration, a simple drum may be perfect.
Not at all. Our drums are designed for beginners and require no prior musical training. As part of our beginner-friendly Musical Instrument Sets, the layout makes it easy for children to start playing right away. They can explore sounds freely or follow simple numbered guidance, helping them feel confident from the very first moment.
